NINTENDO NEW 3DS ANIMAL CROSSING HAPPY HOME DESIGNER UPDATE
Why they both released at the same time and why elements of the 2.0 update weren’t released earlier is a mystery, but not a little more so, it’s something we can’t talk about now.Īs we discussed in our initial review, New Horizons is easily the best animal crossing on Earth yet. Then one day later they added these would be the last update for the game. In spite of their standards, the Nintendos were reacting bizarrely to the problem, with the announcement announced that a massive 2.0 update will start on the same day as the games first paid-for dLC. It’s so unfortunate for all the surprises the Nintendo has experienced. Then the pandemic started, but not a surprise. The original idea was entirely to release small updates every few months and keep the game alive with new content for a few years. Some may balk at the idea that New Horizons was called a live-game, but it was clearly just a game. This kind of problem is in a game like Animal Crossing where you play only a few hours a day and that isn’t for any reason happening in a hurry. The addition of live service games is often very difficult, since it is impossible to play them before release. The majority of big Christmas titles were released without access to early versions, which in many cases was obviously meant to slow down the appearance of the inevitably poor reviews. It’s not been easy to review games this last month or so. GameCentral reviews a single, only paid-for DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and has its final free update quite a bit. Your sweet home paradise is worth everything in between.
